Gather the girls

Here in the Whiteface Region, we have it all. Long winding rivers, the beautiful Whiteface Mountain, and all the outdoor fun you could dream up. The only thing that’s missing is you and your girls! The Whiteface Region is the perfect place for your next girl getaway, from bachelorette parties to gathering your group of weekend explorers. You’ll find something for everyone in your squad, 360 degree views of the Adirondacks from mountain tops, cozy Instagram-able cabins, and delicious restaurants filled with unique cuisine and friendly mountain town vibes.

Stay: Warner’s Camp

Warner’s Camp holds the perfect collection of cabins for any size girls trip, large or small! On the shores of the Ausable River lies the original Warner’s Camp, a camp detailed with a large barn, cozy authentically Adirondack interiors, and string lights that hover over a quaint fire pit with enough chairs for everyone in your party to gather ‘round and roast some mallows. Across the street lives the Cabin, a little abode straight out of a wintry postcard. Complete with a woodsy inside (with Smeg appliances and plenty of logs), outside you’ll find a hot tub and a trail down to your very own sauna. Score!

Do: arts and crafts

If you get rained out on your fully-booked girls trip (bummer!) there’s no need to throw in the towel. Turn your sights to the more crafty side of the Whiteface Region, Young’s Studio and Gallery. Young’s studio is the resident sculpture studio and epicenter of adorable handmade gifts. Find unique designs that can spruce up your pottery game in your home, or get matching sets so that everyone remembers the trip! Sue Young's handmade pottery is beautiful, creative, and one of a kind. Find the perfect gift or souvenir from a trip with the girls.

Do: hike

For the best views in the region, you’ll find plenty of trails that fit the bill. Stag Brook Falls showcases a stunning tiered waterfall with little strain on everyone in your group. With a total round-trip of 1.5 miles, the picturesque climb to the 40-foot waterfall makes the quick trek worth it. *Please note this waterfall is only accessible when ski season is not in session since the trail crosses ski trails.* If your group is full of outdoorswomen (and experienced trail blazers), try your hiking boots at scaling Whiteface Mountain itself! The mountain is the region’s 5th tallest High Peak, and requires a bit of strenuous effort to reach the top. You'll hike 3.6 miles to the summit, making for a 7.2-mile round trip. As this is one of the more challenging hikes in the region, it is imperative that you and your group properly prepare for this trip. Once you reach the summit, all the hard work will have been worth it!

Do: wellness

If you and your group are looking to up your wellness game this year, NewVida Preserve is your place to be. A 2000-acre Mountainous Preserve close to Whiteface, restored beautifully with a lodge, restaurant, craft bar, bistro, and 35+ miles of trails, their wellness center will draw you in and have you coming back for more! Their offerings include yoga in a beautifully crafted A-frame room, massage therapy, a breath and silence class, reiki sessions, and more coming soon. You and your party will leave NewVida feeling rejuvenated and restored, ready for more adventures on your trip.

Do: flower tours

Looking for that finishing touch to round out your itinerary? Consider a tour around Little Farmhouse Flowers, a beautiful local floral design studio and flower farm dedicated to sustainable flower growth and production. The farm regularly keeps itself busy, teaching the pros and newbies alike on floral design, growth, and the flower world! Take your group on a reserved tour of the farm, ranging from 1 to 4 hours, and learn the intricacies of floral design and crop management in one of the most difficult environments in the US. If you can’t get enough of the farm and their beautiful flowers, you can order flowers for pickup, or perhaps book an online course to learn more about the world of floral design when you get back home!

For dinner, head off to the Ice Jam Inn. This restaurant delivers on unique cuisine and takes comfort food to the next level. Enjoy the Banh Mi sandwich or the Swiss Tease, a burger topped with slow-cooked onions, Swiss cheese, onion rings, and malted mayo. If you’re not in a 'wichy mood, indulge in their selection of mussels, rigatoni bolognese, or simply snack on the poutine!

For drinks, set your sights on the NewVida Craft Bar. Stocked with a full tapas menu, this new bar is constantly crafting and creating new cocktails for you to try! Sip on drinks like the Adirondack Harvest or the Ginger Tumeric Sunset. Look back to the menu for a selection of craft beer, wine list, and bar snacks for munching. Sitting under the brilliant A-frame, enjoy the night with some good drinks and good friends.
