Young's Yarns - On the NY Fiber Trail
Young's Studio & Gallery now also features fine yarns with an emphasis on natural fiber. The selection includes local yarns from Blue Pepper Farm in Jay and unique Samoyed (yes, the dog) yarn from an artisan in Plattsburgh. Stop by and find the perfect fiber for your next knit, crochet, or weave.
Young's Yarns is part of the NY Fiber Trail and is handing out and stamping passport to fiber enthusiasts. The NY Fiber Trail is a statewide event featuring independent yarn shops that bring direct access to high quality yarns for fiber enthusiasts. Each participating shop will stamp passports and/or provide free passports to collect stamps as people travel the state. Visit the NY Fiber Trail website for a map of participating shops. No purchase is necessary to get a passport stamped - just stop in! The 2023 NY Fiber Trail event runs from May 15 to October 31. A photo of the completed passport can be emailed by November 15 to win gift certificates to a favorite yarn shop.
