MALABRIGO DAY AT YOUNG’S THIS SATURDAY

Malabrigo Day is an international event to celebrate this favorite brand of hand-dyed merino yarns. Malabrigo Yarn began in 2005 in Montevideo, Uruguay, when three brothers-in-law started hand-dyeing wool in a kitchen pot, creating exceptionally soft yarns with rich, distinctive colors.

Their beautiful hand-dyed yarns quickly gained popularity in the United States and then around the world, becoming especially beloved for their luxurious Uruguayan Merino wool and artistic colorways. Today, Malabrigo remains a family-owned company, with production in Peru and product development in Uruguay, offering a wide range of yarns and colors inspired by nature, landscapes, and art.
