The Cottage is a comfortable, well-appointed, four-season family-friendly home privately nestled on 13 wooded acres in beautiful Wilmington, NY.

Located 6 miles from Whiteface Mt., and 15 miles from Lake Placid, the Cottage is a perfect place to unwind from the day-to-day. It’s a comfortable, relaxing mountain getaway with convenient access to so many activities year-round.

The Cottage accommodates up to 10 guests, with 4 generously sized bedrooms—including a luxurious master suite adorned with log furnishings—a loft, 2.5 baths, an open floor plan with a stone fireplace, cathedral pine ceilings, a wrap-around deck with gas BBQ grill, outdoor seating, an enclosed porch with a wood-burning stove, and ceiling fans throughout. The master suite has a king-size bed and a sleeper sofa. The remaining 3 bedrooms each have 2 twin beds and the loft has a rather comfortable futon.

The enclosed porch is a guest favorite. In the warmer months it’s screen-enclosed, allowing guests to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and the crisp mountain evenings—without the mosquitos. In the winter, the porch is glass-enclosed and the wood stove warms it up nicely. Enjoy being surrounded by the winter scenery without the frigid temps. And the full house automatic back-up generator alleviates worries about power outages!
