Winter Wildlife Tracking

Explore the Hidden World of Four Peaks with Naturalist Elizabeth Lee

Join the Adirondack Land Trust for an immersive winter field trip at Four Peaks in Jay, NY. When the snow falls, the forest transforms into a living record of wildlife activity. Alongside naturalist Elizabeth Lee, you’ll learn to read the "stories" left behind in tracks, feathers, imprints, and fur.

As we snowshoe across this 595-acre tract, protected as "forever wild" since its addition to the Forest Preserve in 2024, you’ll gain hands-on observation skills to better understand the animals that share our quiet winter landscape.
