Be serenaded into Spring
Ring in the season with a Spring Serenade in Keene Valley and Lake Placid. Welcome in the season with vocal duets and instrumental solos spanning the Baroque to George Gershwin.
Soprano, Amy Nelson, and bass, Thomas Stork will sing a variety of songs ranging from profound duets by Brahms, Haydn’s splendid “The Creation”, and delightful Moravian folk songs by Dvorak.
Internationally acclaimed violist Patricia McCarty will perform Bach and Hubay’s “Song of May,“ with pianist Timothy Mount, Professor Emeritus at Stony Brook University.
Performances will be at the Keene Valley Congregational Church on May 17 at 7:00 p.m. and St Eustace Church in Lake Placid on May 18 at 2:00 p.m.
