Learn All About Amphibians!

Slimy Spring Critters

Join an ADK naturalist for an educational program on the toadally cool world of amphibians in this collaborative program between the Adirondack Mountain Club and Wilmington E.M. Cooper Library. We’ll learn what an amphibian is, all about their “Big Night” or “Great Migration” in the spring, fun facts about local species, and where to find them!
Following the indoor educational talk, we'll venture outside in search of amphibians in the park and near the river. Please note that our success finding amphibians outside is not guaranteed as they might not be active, and they are very good at hiding—but that’s part of the fun!
Participants of all ages are welcome. Don’t forget to dress for the weather.
Reserve your spot by email at library@wilmingtoncooperlibrary.net or leave a message at 518-946-7701.
