Get ready for some magical winter fun! Author Sarah van Rijsewijk brings her debut children’s book, Santa and the Sled Dogs, and a REAL dogsled to the Lake Placid Public Library Thursday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m.

Join us for a lively chat about living with Alaskan Malamutes and the world of dogsledding. Sarah, an Adirondack homesteader, writer and dog enthusiast will share “tails” from her family's adventures. Books will be available for purchase—perfect for a cozy winter read or Holiday gift. Meet the dogsled (photo ops encouraged!) and have book signed. We will have coloring pages available and a mini creative writing exercise. Don't miss this unique North Country experience!
