Green Grass Getdown
After a long winter our little herd of cows is ready to get back out on pasture to enjoy these first tender, protein-rich grasses and feel the sun (and rain) on their hides. We invite you to join us for the sweet, seasonal ritual where we turn our cows out to the graze for the first time this year. If the weather allows, we encourage you to spread a blanket in the grass, grab a tamale + a freshly baked cookie, and take a moment to soak up the sights and sounds of this ephemeral season.
To make the day safer and more peaceful; we ask that cars be parked on the shoulder of 9N and visitors enjoy a stroll up to the farm. Folks with mobility challenges are welcome to pull all the way up and find parking in front of the farm store or arrange a drop-off.
This event is free and welcome to everyone, but please leave dogs at home. We hope to see you on Sunday!
