Calling All Wilmington Veterans: A 250th Anniversary Project

In honor of our nation’s upcoming 250th Anniversary, the Town of Wilmington is launching a special project to document and celebrate our local heroes.

Town Historian Merri Peck is seeking information to compile a comprehensive Veterans Directory. This commemorative book will honor every veteran connected to Wilmington, NY, spanning from the Revolutionary War to the present day.

If you or a family member served, please contribute to this historical record. We are looking for:

• Photographs (if available)

• Personal Stories or additional background information
