Ausable River Cleanup

Still looking for a great way to celebrate Earth Day? Join Ausable Freshwater Center on Saturday, April 18, for their Annual Earth Month River Cleanup! Last year, over 100 volunteers pulled 2,400 pounds of garbage from around the Ausable River watershed in North Elba, Keene, Jay, and Wilmington. We plan to remove thousands of pounds of garbage again this year, connecting our community with tangible ways to steward the river, create a cleaner and healthier river, and provide a safer experience for cyclists, anglers, and all those enjoying the beauty of the area. But we need your help!

Origin Coffee Co. will greet everyone with hot coffee and we'll provide all pre-registered volunteers with a light lunch. Let's see how much garbage we can remove from the river corridor and load into the dumpster provided by Casella Waste Systems!
