Arto Monaco Day at the Wells Memorial Library

A special day to remember and celebrate Arto Monaco, theme park desinger and Au Sable Forks native.

Arto Monaco is known for creating iconic attractions, including the Land of Makebelieve (formerly in Upper Jay, NY), the North Pole in Wilmington, NY, and several others throughout the Adirondacks. 

The Wells Memorial Library in Upper Jay, NY will be hosting an event in memory of Arto Monaco on his birthday, November 15th, from 11:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.

Schedule of Events:

• 11:00a.m. - "A Castle in Every Heart" Movie Showing
• 12:00p.m. - Castle Cake Contest
• 1:00p.m. - Story Sharing about Arto and the Land of Make Believe

There will be souvenirs, toys, and artifacts from the Land of Make Believe on display.

Castle Cake Contest:

Whether you're a novice or experienced baker, let your creativity and imagination shine in the castle cake contest!
