Admission: Free and open to the public
Join us for a day where stories come to life against the backdrop of the High Peaks! The Adirondack Family Book Festival celebrates the magic of reading by bringing together an illustrious, richly diverse group of children’s and Young Adult (YA) authors and illustrators.
Under our festival tents, readers of all ages have the unique opportunity to meet their favorite creators, listen to live read-alouds, and engage in insightful presentations about the creative process.
What to Expect:
- Author Meet & Greets: Get your favorite books signed and meet the faces behind the stories.
- Hands-on Discovery: Interactive art-making stations and activities that pair storytelling with the natural beauty of the Adirondacks.
- A Celebration of Community: A welcoming space dedicated to diversity, storytelling, and the joy of literacy.
Be on the lookout for related activities at John Brown Farm on Saturday, August 14, the day before the festival!
