The new kid on the block
The East Branch Community Trails is the newest trail system in the area. This system is great for families as the climb is very gradual with plenty of switchbacks. Beginner riders will find the new flow trails exciting and a great place to improve jumping and turning skills. Intermediate and advanced riders will love pushing to the next level and going back for one more lap.
This trail system is highly recommended by Barkeater Trails Alliance (BETA), an organization that builds, maintains, and advocates for the mountain biking trails in our region!

Highlights
- The Climbing Trail is a work of art. You’ll get to the top without feeling completely gassed, which is a great thing, because you’ll want to take a lot of laps!
- Downriver Trail - A new machine-built flow trail that features some of the biggest berms in the area. It also features a lot of table top and rolling jumps that are perfect for progressing.
Suggested routes
- There and Back Again (Trailforks) At the top of the Climbing Trail is the Short Loop which takes you to a rocky outcropping with a nice view. It’s the perfect place to take a break before enjoying the fruits of your labor. On the way down take a crack (or two or five) at Downriver.
- Get Lappy (Trailforks) If you just came to get down, this is your route. Get to the top of Downriver and then repeat until you can’t pedal any more.
- Tiny Tike Express (Trailforks) The lower trails are great for the youngest of riders. After a short gentle climb, you’ll find the Leepoff Loop which has a cutoff trail that allows you to take multiple laps on the slightly rolling plateau.
