The Beaver Brook Tract trail network is 6.6 miles of trails spread across seven different paths.

These trails are a multi-purpose landmark for the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation. They are open to mountain biking, hiking, trail running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and pretty much whatever else you can do without the use of a motor vehicle. These trails were developed by the local Bark Eater Trails Alliance (BETA) and the DEC, with technical support from International Mountain Bicycling Association.

The trails at Beaver Brook are of a wide array of difficulties and terrain. One trail in particular is excellent for hiking and that is the Good Luck Trail. This trail ascends to a ridge where excellent views can be enjoyed. Trail running is also another excellent option here and with the wide variety of trails, one can enjoy numerous loops to vary the workout.

Beaver Brook trailhead: From the intersection of Route 86 and Route 431 (Whiteface Memorial Highway), follow Route 86 toward Jay. Continue for just under 2.1 miles to Hardy Road on the right. Follow here for around 2.2 miles to the Wilmington Wild Forest, Beaver Brook Tract Trail System on your left.
