A challenge awaits!
The Whiteface Uphill Bike Race will be Saturday, June 3 at 5:30 p.m. Here are some details for the event:
The race starts in the middle of Wilmington at the Visitors Bureau, 5753 NYS RT 86 Wilmington NY.
Packet pick-up and parking will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Preston Festival Field, 1135 Springfield Road, Wilmington, NY (just around the corner from the starting line).
Packet will include your bib, t-shirt and meal voucher.
There will be a bag drop vehicle at the starting line if you desire a change of clothes for the top. Please make sure you have your name and phone number on or in the bag.
We use a timing mat and do a rolling start instead of a mass start. You will get a timing chip with your bib.
If you don’t feel comfortable riding your bike back down, you may have someone meet you at the top. We will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and a per person price.
Results will be posted online at www.AuyerTiming.com

If you like a challenge, this is the course for you. This USATF certified course covers 8 miles over an 8 percent grade up Whiteface Mountain's scenic Veterans' Memorial Highway. Whiteface Mountain is New York's fifth highest peak with 360-degree panoramic views of the Adirondacks, New England, and Montreal.
