Summer events in the Whiteface Region are geared toward family fun and entertainment, with a little sport thrown in for good measure.

In May the legendary two day Ausable River Two-Fly competition takes place, pitting fishers against one another using just two flies of their choice. It's even fun just to watch from the banks of the mighty Ausable. 

Getting close to the action is what it's all about. The Whiteface Mountain Bike Fest will allow you up close and personal interaction and participation in knobby tire festivities and races. Included in Bike Fest weekend are the 12th Annual Whiteface Mountain Uphill Bike Race as well as the Wilmington/Whiteface 100K.

If cultural events strike a cord, then check out the concerts in the park at Lake Everest Beach every week during the summer season. Or head down to the Jay Entertainment and Music Society (JEMS) for an art exhibit or concert featuring local artists throughout the summer.

There's something for everyone to keep you entertained and busy in the Whiteface Region.
