Adirondack 102 Club Annual Dinner to be held at Whiteface

Wilmington, N.Y. — The Whiteface Visitors Bureau invites all Adirondack explorers to attend the second Adirondack 102 Club Annual Dinner, which will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Whiteface Mountain Ski Center's Cloudspin Lounge.

The Adirondack 102 Club is a book that serves as guide to travelers in their quest to visit all 102 towns and villages in the Adirondacks. Compiled by Marty Podskoch, the book is billed as “your passport & guide to the North Country."

The book inspires travel through the entire region as book holders stop at authorized locations to acquire a stamp for each of the 102 towns and villages. Those who reach their goal of visiting all 102 stops then receive the Vagabond Award.

The festive evening will feature an Oktoberfest theme and menu, and promises to be entertaining for all aspiring Vagabonds. The dinner program will include a presentation of Vagabond Awards to the newest members of the 102 Club, live music by “The Trophy Husbands," book signings, stories, photo displays and more.

As a special bonus, attendees will be given access to the Whiteface Veterans Memorial Highway on Oct. 6 or 7 for just $5 per person when they show their confirmation email.

Tickets to the dinner should be reserved by Sept. 26, and can be reserved with a credit card by calling 518-946-2255 or by sending a check to Whiteface Visitors Bureau, PO Box 277, Wilmington, N.Y.
