WILMINGTON, NY - Complete with a scarecrow building contest and pies, the 11th Annual Festival of the Colors will be held at the tee-ball field on Springfield Road in Wilmington from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014.

The Whiteface Mountain Regional Visitors Bureau invites all to celebrate the fall season with kids’ activities, arts and crafts, food, performances and the popular pie baking contest!

Pie baking contest entrants will compete for bragging rights and to support local communities. After the judges receive their sample for the contest, pies will be sold by the slice and proceeds will be donated to help support the region’s food pantries. All are welcome to enter with no maximum number of pies. Pies will be judged based on overall appearance, crust (flavor, texture, aroma), filling (flavor and consistency) and originality!
